This happened on Sept. 24, 1999. I was on the 101 fwy merging to the 10fwy then from out of NOWHERE a ****ING mustang 5.0 cut me off. Slammed on my brakes & tried to avoid it but my steering wheel locked up. Ended up hitting the side rails.
According to my friends who were following me in another car, told me my car went airborne about 6 feet high!!! Then landed on the driver side. I passed out as soon as my car hit the side rails.
Luckily I walked out alive....had to stay in the hospital overnight just as a precaution. I thought my ribs were broken coz of the pain I was in.....I couldnt even hear well on my left ear for a month caused by the impact of my head hitting the driver side windows, shattering it into pieces.

I was not racing anyone, nor was I drunk.

when i was 17 a cop hit my left door doing like 80 miles with no brakes, he was chassing someone with no lights . Anyways, i wish if i had pics but i remember that the dash inside the car flew out and smoke was every where, smelled like ****. I crowled out of the car. it was nasty. the car was like bannana.

 

Did the Mustang at least got "fixed" as nasty as your Toyota?
Scary stuff. I triple check before merging anyway.
A friend of mine witnessed a semi crash a car when he tried to merge in front of him. It was in LA.
The truck driver actually did it on purpose

thanks guys! the mustang got away. My car didnt even touch it. He never even stoped to help me.
