Hey everyone, we just finished wrapping up a great year at AutoCon 2014 which was located at the Fairplex Exposition Complex in Pamona, CA.

This year’s event showcased a range of show stoppers from slammed VIP rollers to aggressive wide body builds. We also saw some amazing JDM classics including a couple mint condition Nissan Hakosuka’s, Datsuns, and R200’s. The European exotics also made an appearance with some Lamborghini’s and Ferrari’s. Making our way outside we ran into some highly modified lifted trunks that lined the back walkway so there was literally something for everybody at this event.

This year we had a large booth setup where people could come up to talk to us and ask questions. We enjoyed chatting with a lot of the different automotive enthusiasts and tuners that stopped by our booth. We brought out a couple of our own demo cars along with our good customer and friend’s R32 GTR.



Luckily, our Concept One FR-S with a full Varis wide body kit made it just in time for the event and we we’re absolutely honored to take home the “Finest of Show” Award. Check out more of the build

Our team had also taken home a handful of other awards; Our Hakosuka took home runner up for “Finest JDM Vehicle” while our project Overtake R35 GTR took home “Finest Body Work” for its full dry carbon body with a fully custom carbon/alcantara interior, granted our GTR wasn't even finished yet, we were extremely grateful to have been given such an award even though the project was still in progress.



Our Zele Japan x Bulletproof Automotive 370Z won runner up for “Finest Nissan” with its full Zele aero kit painted in a gorgeous special Porsche GT3 Gray running a newly acquired Top Secret/HKS Supercharger Kit. Hey guys we want to start off our coverage by showcasing this latest EvoX build that Wheeler Automotive brought out to the show. We were fortunate enough to worked with Wheeler to provide this beautiful Varis Widebody D kit for their latest build for their customer Jared.

This EvoX sports a full Varis Widebody Type D kit, rocks a Voltex Wing, a stunning CF Varis bonnet, and currently sits on blue TE37's.



Up close and personal, that Varis CF diffuser is slick



Not only is the exterior nice to look at, check out his engine bay! That Colt Speed engine cover catches your eye quickly along with the ARC intercooler piping.



Adding Varis CF Canards really bring out the aggressive look to this kit.



CF makes everything better. This Voltex Type 5 wing brings it together well.

I'm absolutely a fan of classics, there's something that leaves you speechless when seeing such a rare car that needed extra love and care to look the way it does now just as it did back then. A lot of hard work and much appreciation to the owners.




R100, RX-2 and RX-7 lined up at the event. I'm rotary obsessed and was drooling over these builds.
