6 hosts? what are they thinking???
the times Sabine has been on TG she's been entertaining... and she'll easily give Harris and the Stig a run for their money as far as driving abilities go
but idk, this many hosts makes me think they're desperate... idk if it'll last like this

Agreed. It reminds me of NFL pre-game shows which used to be 3 people and they worked well, but many of them now have 5 or 6 on stage and a bunch wandering around doing sideline reports. Too much clutter.
It kinda seems like you have 3 drivers (Sabine, Harris, EJ - maybe) and 3 entertainers (Leblanc, Evans, Reid), plus the Stig for timed laps. I wonder if they'll do 3 car "challenges" and have everyone partner up? Or if it just means a diluted amount of screen time? Or is Evans going to be a ringleader for the other 5 (+ Stig) doing pre-taped bits...
Lots of possibilities.

The old guy is Eddie Jordan (of Jordan F1 fame).
The black guy is Rory Reid, who has apparently done work on Sky and BBC, and does these:

don't get me wrong, I'll still watch the amazon show as the "original" top gear, but I saw this as a possible new entertaining car show that happens to have the top gear name... with the right hosts it has lots of potential... but with 6 hosts... and the quality of some of those hosts... I'm not so sure. I just hope they're not stingy with the ban stick when some of them don't work out
