the thing I don't like is that the name has nothing to do with cars... you can stretch the argument that Grand Tour or GT is a popular trim or a type of car, but like I said its a stretch
It has something to do with the format though, or at least Clarkson et al claim that.

The new one will too. But the entertainment had relatively little to do with being a "car show". It was 3 guys who did silly things with cars that were generally entertaining.
