You have to take what you can get for now.

The new show will just as good as the old show or even better! I say even better, no BBC breathing down their neck.

The Grand Tour with ex-Top Gear hosts is coming to Amazon on November 18th

The Grand Tour — the new show from ex-Top Gear hosts Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May — is coming to Amazon Prime Video on November 18th. Amazon announced the show's premiere date in a bombastic YouTube clip that features the kind of fast cars and exotic locales that the Grand Tour promises to show, with the trio heading around the world to film in South Africa, California, Germany, and the UK, among other places.

Episodes of the show will come weekly to Amazon's Prime platform, with a new one every Friday after the show's premiere on November 18th. Amazon has agreed a 36-episode deal with the three presenters, who left the successful BBC version of Top Gear in 2015 after Jeremy Clarkson was suspended for punching a producer.

The Grand Tour's $3.2 Million Opening Is Reportedly The Most Expensive TV Scene Ever

The opening scene to Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May’s new Amazon show The Grand Tour will be so big and ridiculous it’s been reported to be the most expensive scene ever shown “on the small screen,” according to The Sun. Ever!

According to the report, your favorite motoring trio will be amplifying the craziness on display in the old Top Gear, upping the game with the grand opening of its new web-based show, reportedly including “150 cars, 2,000 ‘petrolheads’, acrobats, stilt-walkers and six jet planes” set in the desert in some sort of crazy sequence that sounds a lot like that popular post-apocalyptic movie series about a guy named Max.

The guys will apparently be driving three heavily-modified red, white and blue Mustangs alongside $25.5 million worth of supercars, including “a Bugatti Veyron and Rolls-Royce.”

The entire sequence is said to cost around $3.2 million (£2.5million), which is a lot of dollars paid for by my Amazon Prime subscription. I have no idea how this scene is supposed to come together, so let’s hope it’s worth it!

The first episode will be up on Amazon on November 18th, with a weekly roll-out of the rest of the season. Sorry, binge-watchers.

The Grand Tour Will Tape In Nashville, Here's How to Get Tickets

http://www.roadandtrack.com/car-cult...our-nashville/

Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May already taped an episode of their new Amazon Prime show, The Grand Tour, in California last month, but the trio will grace the U.S. with another appearance. Amazon announced Monday that The Grand Tour will tape an episode in Nashville, Tenn. on November 21st.

To apply for tickets, you have to have an Amazon account and be at least 18 years old and a U.S. citizen. The short application form asks a couple simple questions about the show, and Amazon says you may be contacted by email to answer additional questions. The application window is open from now until 11:59 p.m. PT on October 26th.

Of course, tickets for the taping are limited, and you'll have to get yourself to Nashville if you're selected. The Grand Tour premieres on November 18th and the first full-length trailer dropped earlier this month.

Since the ticket window closes soon, you better head to Amazon and put an application in.
