Help on New Car: integra GSR vs Miata

I've had a Miata as a dd before. Fun car but wouldn't do it again. Much rather get an s2000 or cayman for a 2 seater.

You guys are killing me. I just sold a 2000 GSR sedan this afternoon and I'm still sad. Now you say it's the ultimate DD. I loved the car - it was incredibly comfortable, handled well, got 40 mpg and was reliable. I just didn't need 3 cars

30-35mpg, yes. 40? No LOL. Not even an LS gets 40mpg :-)
I'd be daiying a GSR if
1. I didn't already have a Civic sedan
And
2. I didn't live in the Honda theft capital of the world. LOL

I'd never sell it, if I had a good one, that is for sure.
I'd probably have the coupe, though. Such beautiful cars.

I love Hondas but as far as sheer driving pleasure on the track the rwd will be more fun then the front wheel drive..

Looked at a few Miatas and Integras. Decided on the following Integra because it was kinda rare and likely another like it would be hard to find because most are beat to crap and have been stolen previously:

One owner
100% stock
4-door GS-R
Super clean
All maintenance history
Clean title
129k
$5000

I'm a Honda guy, so I'm biased, but I say GSR, hands down.

For now I will likely go with some suspension upgrades: springs, maybe shocks and some upgraded brake pads. Probably keep engine fairly stock.

Our gallons are different

I guess you've never been on one of those high-miler forums and one guy makes a high mpg claim and the other guys jump all over him with "He's Canadian! Their gallons are bigger!"

Good choice, I daily a lightly modded '01 GSR coupe and its a great little car. I average 33MPG, can fit almost any amount of stuff in the back and its probably the most fun FWD car I've ever driven.

LOL bigger gallons. so Canada uses Imperial gallons while we use U.S. gallon? no wonder gas is so much more expensive/gallon haha. 1 imperial = 1.2 US. we just can't be the same as ANYONE LOL

Canada uses metric, which can make the mileage number a pain.
