With the introduction of Airtrek Turbo-R. Mitsu is matching up all Scooby's major models. Galant VR4 to Legacy RSK, Legnum to Legacy GTB, Lancer EVO to Impreza WRX Sti and now Airtrek Turbo-R to Forrester Turbo...

And of course the Lancer Cedia AWD Turbo to compete with the regular WRX...

Subaru matching Mitsu

I would say it's the other way around.
The Legacy B4 was introduced nearly 2 years after the Galant VR-4 made it's return.
The Lancer EVO and the Impreza WRX were launched at approximately the same time.
The Legnum VR4 was launched at the same time as the Galant, i.e. before the Legacy GBT
Regarding the Airtrek v.s. the Forester it is true.

I hope I don't come off as a smartass...

Well, you have to look pass the current gen, say for Galant, the last gen (round shape one) sucks compared to the previous gen Legacy GTB.

I should re-phase, and say Mitsu and scooby match up each other's line up since I can't remember when.

I guess just like the EVO following the WRX, Mitsu will wait and see how well the 2004 Forrester Turbo do in the US market before making that decision

For the older ones with families, this is the 7 seater Chariot GT, which was a limited model run in 1996/7. The driveline is an Evo III / Eclipse GSX type, with a top mounted intercooler.
