Not just hp wise. The interior in the Mach 1 felt like it would fall apart if I sneezed. The Cobra just seemed so much better built.

It was pretty funny, the guy was really trying hard to sell me the Mach 1. I was trying to be polite, saying I wasnt that interested in it. He kept bugging me. Eventually I just told him that it felt like my friends 89' Ranger and I wouldnt be caught dead in it. Good times.

well i think the newer mustangs fender flares are enough already, my g/f has an 01 v6 5spd stang and she can drive it really well...

however the wheels look sooooooooooo small and why get even wider fenders?? 232 is probably the CI displacement maybe? like the ole 350, 454, etc etc. but 232 is nothing to 'represent' lol.

i like the wheels, if they wre on my car.

The Machs interior is basically the same as the 6 and the GT. Just with a few pretty additions. The Cobras seats themselves are su much better. I want to drop a set into my GT

Forget the seats! Drop in an IRS, DOHC, and a blower.

I hate Mustangs with the fire of 1000 suns. Just to see one with an underbody kit makes my day. Don't let him forget the tire flies and windshield water squirters he can get at PepBoys.

To each his own

232 represents the cubic inches of the engine. it is a 3.8L V6. just like the V8 is a 281ci.

those are not GT-R badges on the back. those look like the back 232 badges.

I've never been a fan of the BW2 kit on mustangs but at least its not the roush or saleen kits. those get so old looking as everyone has those. I am a moderator on one v6 mustang forum and a regular poster on another. ask him what forum he posts at because to get those badges, he has to post at either www.3.8mustang.com or www.v6power.net or www.v6stangs.com the maker of the 232 badges has yet to put them on ebay.

to do an engine swap on a v6 mustang is a HUGE ordeal. easily costing thousands of dollars. the V6s and the V8 bodys are the same, but the engine and electrical and console and everything else is completly different. and the ford IRS isnt even that great. you can convert the stock 4link system to a 3 link and handle better than the IRS.

You mean people actually admit to having a V6 mustang?

No real need, just drop in a Vortech SQ w/aftercooler and 400 RWHP should be enough to keep you happy for a while. Come on over to http://www.fordpower.net because we're nice over there .

And, yeah, the V6s do get ragged on. Funniest thing I read was a discussion in OT on ClubSi where the Honda Civic drivers were calling V6 Mustangs "secretary cars." Ah, the irony.
