IMO the S2000 is a great little car for a young guy, I looked at them before I bought the Evo, I had reservation on their roll over protection and most were getting high miles up and a little motor that gets revved so high I wasn't sure how long the motor will last and the price of a rebuild also being an older guy I think I would been laughed at driving it like a poor mans Porsche lol

I'm almost 29, I feel more silly when I drive the Evo around lol

Also the s2000 is 20x better looking than the boxster of the same year imo

S2000 will always have a special place in my heart. Nothing drives better than an NSX, and nothing cheaper than an NSX drives better than an S2000.

I don't follow this at all... Your concerned about the s2k being too "boi racer" but you have an evo? Evos are arguably the most boi racer cars out there... It may have a few equals, but I don't think there's anything that surpasses it in that department...

Also, no one ever refers to the s2k as a poor mans Porsche... The boxster is a poor mans Porsche...

But then again I've never been the type to care about what other people think of what I drive, so I have a hard time understanding this mind set in the first place...
