And I'm still waiting for Honda to replicate their 'Ring time with a stock production model like they vowed they would.
I do not know why they would need to do a Ring redo, but the CTR is taking names in independent track day testing.

They should, because they said they would.

Their run was with a car with non-production tires, and they took out the A/C which they said was offset by the added weight of the roll cage... though they neglect to mention that the roll cage assists with rigidity, and it helps distribute the weight more evenly since weight was taken off of the front axle and moved between the axles.

Well the Ring is undergoing track changes to make it more safe. So it will be impossible to replicate the run. I am sure new records will start being set soon enough. I suspect CTR will still be the fwd king. http://www.autoblog.com/2015/08/18/n...s-lifted-2016/

I honestly still go for the original NSX, it won't take long for people to realize that for the price of this Acura they could of gotten into something else. But I mean if you got money like Leno then I just disregard my last input....

For the nearly the same money, I would get a Porsche GT3 instead.

But a lot of GT3s get marked up. I ended up parking next to a GT3 and chatted with its owner for a bit, and he said he had just gotten his after looking for the right deal for a long time, since so many dealerships mark them up by five-figure amounts, even now. I think he said that our local one (Newport Porsche or whatever they're called) was marking them up by close to a hundred grand. (I didn't verify it though.)

That's not to say that the NSX won't get marked up initially though.
