The xB has far more utility as a daily driver.

 

^ I agree and though I prefer the mini for "fun to drive" the Xb is way more practical

so it gets my vote

 

I'd take the Scion for a driver......I'm tall and big so would like to have the room. I love Mini's though but would only want one if it was the "S".

 

The Mini is a great handling, good looking car. The Scion.... isn't.

 

Mini Cooper. Definatly. There's NO question about that...

not cause it's the coolest car in the world (although i am a fan), but because the Scion is the uglyest piece of garbage on the planet.

 

gotta love 15,000 HUB CAPS......how is this even a choice? the scion is a POS vehicle that has barely enough power to pass cars at 65mph ................a big POS....and waste of 15Gs

Go test drive an Xb and unless you're expecting a sports car I doubt you willl be dissapointed.
It weighs 100 lbs less than a cooper and more than 250 lbs less than the S. Do your homework if you don't believe me. It comes stock with traction and stability control as well.
I can't fit in a mini and I don't think anyone of any size would want to sit in the backof one. I'm 6'6" and a big dude, the Xb has room for me in the front or back seats. Being a bit of a performance **** (as any evo fan would) I was skeptical of he Xb's power. Last week I test drove an Xb w/ auto trans and was surprised by it's power. It held it's own just fine on the highway and that was with 3 large people in the car. Also the aftermarket is good for the Xb cause it already has a following in Japan (toyota Bb), there are Turbo and Supercharger kits available now and I read Scion is going to eventually release dealer installed and warranteed Supercharger kits for it.
Unless you are trying to win a popularity contest, don't worry about what everyone thinks of looks but I think the Xb looks damn cool
The new Mini is overrated and I personally think it's for fogies who are trying to be trendy but I've always liked ripping on the compact lead weight that is the mini.

 

the mini is fun to drive?????? did i missed it when i drove it?????? under power....steerin is not as good as most people think....small as hell....in a way kindda ugly compare to the old mini....the break is horrible too....feel like i have to stomp on that thing to stop...although it was not a cooper S...i m guessin it'll be a lot better in the cooper S...but if u comparin a xB and a regular cooper....i'll take the xB....if both is crappy...i'll rather have a crap that is useful

 

i love the cooper...i say get the cooper!!!

Put it this way, you get in a nasty wreck, the mini cooper is a death trap. On the other hand, the scion is like a damn bus. Plus they make some nice bodykits for it!
