Nice. Too bad some of us EVO owners didn't get a similar letter from about our brakes.

I got a notice a few weeks ago from Saturn that they are extending the warranty on the transmission in our AWD VUE because of numerous complaints with the new Variable Automatic transmission.

It seems like is way behind in the Customer Service department.

thats a catch-22, it would cost more to provide superior customer service, thereby indebting themselves more.

I have a Nissan that's 10 years old and has been bullet proof. Nothing but brakes, tires and oil and it's been great. Nissan definitely makes good products IMO, but it's true, there's no free lunch.

i believe has to start standing behind their products tho. I think there will be very little repeat customers now because of how poor the customer service is. if you buy a Toyota, they really stand behind their product. we had a friend who drove down from Canada and his CEL came on. We took it to the local dealer and they took it in to check it. We went home and received a phone call 2 hours later saying that this is normal and that they needed something done to the ECU. They clearly told us how if they tried to fix it now with the US part they had, it would void the warranty. So they offered us to either take it back to Canada or to get that part shipped from a Canadian dealer. We said to get the part from the Canadian dealer. The next day, the part was in and my friend from Canada was able to drive back to Canada without delay. This is true service, giving the customers options (and good options at that) instead of telling us how we could have ****ed up the car. I hope will learn from other car dealers or else they will run out of returning customers and less customers overall.

Better than a recall, I guess. My friend had his rotors on his G35 warp after 8k miles. At least he is going to get reimbursed for the brake work he paid for.

Yea, my father has an auto G35 and he got that notice in the mail and he was told by the service department during his first oil change. He laughs when I tell him about my/our experiences with Mitsu service departments.....

Like I said before and Ill say it again, I love my car and Mitsu's in general, but because of my dealings with many poor service departments, I will never again buy one. Are you listening yet, MMCA?

but also, keep in mind, if "mom" in her Galant goes into a mitsu dealership, they are not going to get treated the same way as the guy with the "GREDDY" blasted on the side of his lowered EVO is going to get treated.

My Family has always had an infinity in the driveway since I was in Kindergarten. In graduate high school in a month for a point of reference.

But also remember that letter from infiniti went to g35 owners who are moms and also the ones who put "greddy" on the side of his lowered g35.
