Infiniti stands behind their owners
This illustrates the customer service difference between Infiniti and Nissan.
Nissan knows there is a problem with brake judder/rotor warping on my Maxima, and they issued a TSB for it, but there's been no letter like the Infiniti one. Owners have had to find the TSB on their own, and find a dealer to honor it. It's hit or miss on whether you can convince them to do the work under warranty.
The first dealer I went to (the one where I bought my car) pretended to know nothing about the TSB (I even showed them the number), and they said that brake rotor turning or replacement was not warrantied. The service manager was conveniently absent and no one else knew how to look it up.
The second dealer I talked to knew about the TSB and gave me no problem at all. They replaced the rotors and pads under warranty.
Guess which dealer I've used exclusively for service after that?
