Engineering Explained put out an Evo X video that said the Evo was 80% FWD. I managed to get him to recant it by trolling him in the comments. He actually put in a little research and came out with a corrected Evo video. But still that first video pretty much damaged his credibility in my eyes.

Sticker price for a WRX is $27,195. My '04 is a nice little car. My wife is small, the seats are adjustable for height and fit her well. She loves the thing.

You can go up the price ladder but if your coming from driving an Evo you're not going to be impressed. Buy the WRX for a little more than half the price.

I just drove a 17 STI and it felt solid. The sound was exhilarating and the gear changes felt solid. It was fast but felt short on the top end as you accelerate. The evo IX and the evo X felt faster even as you go up in speed. I would still go to the dark side and get the RA just for posterity. However, saving up for a new GT3 manual or 570S!

I would rather spend 50K rebuilding a 2 door 2.5RS with STI powertrain.

If I can find an actual WRC car BB2 with the WRC wing, that would be a good value. The $50k RA is just for spec not to be driven.

Um. Wut?
It's a cheap attempt at an "upgrade".

not the best value of a car, just the rarity jacks up the price
