Civic SIR?

Civic SIR?

What years did they make them? my sister wants one but we don't know which year they made them. Yes there is such thing as a SIR.

only in Japan....they never brought the SiR here......they had the equivalent of an Integra RS engine pushing about 160hp compared to the standard Civic SI which at the time was pushing about 135hp.

edit: they actually still make them too...you can get them in Japan, Canada, and Europe among others.

in philippines, the SIR is 4 door and produces 160hp with 1.6l DOHC VTEC engine. its fast

the Civic SiR was never available in the US. the 92-95 civic SI hatchbacks and current civic SI's are badged SiR for the canadien market. that's about as close as you're gonna get.

did it have the Ferio badges in the phillipines? i know the JDM ones were badged Civic Ferio.

^^^ no, no, it was just named CIVIC and then it had an SIR badge its a nice car, my grandma has one, the color was passion orange. we added foggies, lowered it, and added some nice BBS rims to it. forgot what model the BBS was tho.

In Canada, the Civic Si was called an SiR, fyi.

If anyone wants I could post some images of my SiR. Engine, front, rear & angle. Post requests what else you want to see. In the Philippines the SiR was only sold once by Honda Philippines.

By local standards that's fast. Almost all Philippine-made cars with that BHP tend to have automatic trannys. It was introduced in October/November of 1998. Curb weight ranges from 2,200-2,640 lbs. Sorry if I cant give more precise figures but Google isnt helpful and that's what is stated in the manual. Back then you could get one for $15,890.00

precisely! , btw could you post a couple of pictures of your civic . wut color is it? my grandma has the passion orange one. i love driving her civic and her lancer GSR 2dr. the lancer was yellow. on the other hand i hate family trips coz i get to drive the big SUV, the pajero. maybe im just not used to it
