I think we all know that the 10A is quicker than the 6M car, but here are all the details.

I drove a buddy's 2018 GT 10a with performance pack. Very nice car, was premium trim too, so it had leather, stereo, and all options. Would make a great daily driver. The trans is nice, it's pretty smart about what it's doing when cruising around. Only thing I didn't like is that when you are using the paddle when just cruising there is a delay from pulling the paddle to the shift. But at WOT, the delay is gone. Kinda weird. The trans shifts VERY fast though. Ford is getting there. I have a feeling the 10 speed will be around for a while, with probably just programming improvements, and it will get to the point of being PDK good.
As far as heat, the converter never unlocks in track mode that I could tell, and an unlocked converter is most of the heat in an auto trans.

A car with any auto that gets tracked won't be low maintenance. I would want to see the transmissions true ability to survive hot laps before buying. My post was an assumption. But it probably could. Adding a cooler wouldn't be the end of the world. Changing fluid every 10k Ike's might get spendy though lol
I mean, it would depends on the use of the car. Do I want the most involved experience HPDE? I'll get a manual. Do I want to win TA events and have a that I can amek sure I'm not leaving anything on the table? I'll probably go for an auto.
Any "auto" trans needs frequent fluid changes when tracked- including the GTR.

BTW, the word is the manual even though supposedly improved, still has reliability problems. I can't say if this is due to abuse or not. I really like driving and prefer manuals. But, the 10A trans is so much faster in everyday driving to me.
