for the tq steer comment.....

just about any car that has front wheels turning.....will tq steer...some are jsut harder to notice.....

its obviously curable but being awd isnt an argument

other than that....awesome car

its not built to compete with the evo/sti.....obviously cuz it doesnt...its suppoed to be a comfy cruiser with a euro look(boxy and big fender flares)

how is the R32's engine, are there any problems like the suposed rumors of the sti that it will " blow up " if you modify it ? is it a strong tunable engine like the evolution?

only difference is the evo's motor has 14 years of experience...

im not doubting you , but then again you have to admit no one knows whats ganna happen with a motor thats been around for a year.

the only thing ive heard so far that really would worry me about an sti is that it can not handle high/higher boost well.

I'd like one as a daily driver and the Evo as the weekend car. Looks sharp.

Friend's father will be getting an R32 within the next week. Looking forward to giving that thing a spin.

He's a long-time VW nut though. Has an older GTI which he's stripped, and dropped in a supercharged Corrado engine. I forget the timeslips (this was the 1997-ish timeframe, god knows what he did since) he used to manage but they were certainly jaw-dropping.

Sorry for the HI-JACK, but this is not true, the open deck, aluminum block, weaker internlas, its a NOICE motor and far more "Exotic" then the plain Jane 4G63, but not as strong, will not handle as much boost stock nore make as much power.

I like the EJ20 better, smaller motor and higher revs, safer shorter stroke.

Nice car man congratulations. I still think that volks could have done a little better distinguishing the car from a normal golf (big time sleeper i guess), but great choice mang!
