Zero: Which RB motor did you drop in? RB25? 26? damn...lemme check out the pics i've yet to see any clean RB swaps in S13's except for Team Velocity's RB powered S13.

Creamo: If i'm not mistaken isn't the 7bolt 4g63t stronger and crank walk less? damn...i'm a bit dusty on the 4g63t topics i gotta go back to the mirage/dsm forums and read up again.

i got an RB20DET... its the lowest RB motor you can find... i got it for two reasons...
1) i only spent $1200 instead of the $2700 for an RB25DET or $2600 for an SR20DET
2) as of now my redline is 8500 instead of the RB25's 6700 and the SR20's 7300

its not the greatest swap in the world... but it's cool because i blast past many cars...

GSX all the way!!!! don't get me wrong the 240 is a cool ride, its just gotten to the point where its like having a civic. we all know you don't want one of those. if you go with the 240 make it clean and professionally done. i've seen too many half-assed attempts at making this car "jdm" (over-hyped).
the gsx on the other hand commands respect on the streets. it has paid its dues and stood the test of time (still not played out). sure there were a few months when i did not want to be seen in mine because of the f&f but that has passed. i say drive both, then decide what strenghts and weaknesses you can find with each. i guess it comes down to what you aim to do with it. drag, drift, course, ect. i say the gsx has a better afterrmarket parts base in the u.s. there will always be odd little stuff that is hard to find if you go with the 240 sr20 swap.

I am voting GSX, not because of all these guys saying the 240 is played out, because persoanlly I never see that car. Maybe its where i live, but that car is actually pretty rare here. But IMO the Eclipse GSX is a better daily driver, especially after you start putting a little money into them. The crank walk issue was pretty well taken care of by 98 so daily driving that car with 300WHP is safe and easily attained. That and the style is still there and the resale is still there. But thats just my .02
