I would choose the 350z hands down except you specified "automatic" for some reason and I would never get an automatic on any car I owned under any circumstance so I voted for the TL since I assumed that would be manual since you specified on the other choices.

It depends what your other car/cars is/are. If you have something fast and fun, then go luxury. If not, get the 350 or the G35, but not an auto.

I'm confused by your four choices for a daily driver, but I pick the used GS400.
1. You get luxury.
2. It has good acceleration from the 4.0L V8 (300hp, 310 ft-lbs and 3700lb curb weight).
3. It has loads of passenger and cargo space.
4. It's RWD.
5. It's an automatic for convenience.
6. It's a Lexus with rock-solid reliability.
7. It's cheaper than the rest - You might find a 2000 GS400 for 25K.

I like the new TL. I don't care if it is FWD, this is for daily drivers, and you arn't supposed to drive like a crazy man with these cars. It has lots of power and will get me around in winter.
GS400, it is **** and has the Speed shift on the steering wheel and its Build quality is above the Nissan, Lexus is TOP when it comes to build quality and reliablity, #1.

yeah, my choice is by far the 350z in that group but like I said above he specified "automatic" in the poll and I would never own an automatic. If it was a stick then no contest, that 350z is THE car.
