The BMW has a very sick swap. Very unique and prolly very expensive but nice as hell.

A guy in florida used a Sr20det redtop. There was a feature in some magazine (I get so many, I can't remember which one it was) like modified I think. Anyways, he said the Rx7 not only was reliable, but it also handled better, and ran 10 second passes.

*ha!* found some threads on clubrx7

yeah...i have the mag. he put it on e-bay about a week after the mag hit the stands.

my 93 is on her third motor, 13B just simply too fragile...that is why i have been kicking around a supra engine swap. i know of only one tuner that has done this conversion...runs mid tens all day without blowing up.

since i got my EVO she just sits in my garage (since last July). i can't seem to bring myself to sell it.

oh geeze i wonder how hard that was, puttin the SR20 into a RX7. I love the body of the RX7 but the engine is just a little to tempermental for me, from what i hear. i was gonna try to rebuild a car this summer, and if thats possible, thats definately somethin that i would consider

weaksauce, the 3.2 in that car is a great motor needs a little work but can easily push 400+hp reliably, many euro tuners as well as AA down in miami can do it.

I don't think it'd be that hard (getting an SR20 into an RX7)... Very sweet car, regardless.

Wow, talk about stupid.

The whole point of a ///M car is the motor. Whats next, swapping a Ferrari motor for a Supra engine.

true for sure but you can't get reliable 700 hp from any M motor.

showing respect for the M family of engines (S-14 being my favorite) i would have not chosen to do this conversion but the 2JZ GTE i think is a more than worthy for this.

cool that someone made a successful transplant...must be evil to drive!
