I have a 2001 eclipse gs. Being that the Ralliart engine is just a tuned version of my 4cyl, would it be possible to buy a mivec head and install it on my car? I know this can be done with integras and vtec...etc.... didn't know if it was possible with mitsubishi. Any advice would be appreciated..

 

First of all, use the search button, and you might have better luck at a 3G eclipse web site, because I'm sure someone there has already thought it up. It is possible, both engines are in the 4G6 family, but if anything you will run into problems with managment. even on honda swaps, there are a lot of different wiring that is dedicated to the VTEC system and it's components, like the solenoid. Your best bet is to go to an eclipse forum and try it there.
