Choice of the lancer 2002oz(aust) or Imprezza rx(base model)
Hi I had this in another post ( But it was off the topic there sorry for the copy)
I'm in Australia
Anyway I was looking for a car and had the choice between a Imprezza ( the base model) which had sort of the same specs as the lancer ... 94kw ( same as the lancer) same suspension, sohc, 2.0ltr, ABS, the main difference AWD in the sub but the lancer had sportstronic shifting standard ( I would have had to get a auto anyway.... ) well I was told I should have gotton the imprezza.... They seemed the same power wise I prefured the look of the new lancer heaps more!!! Anyway just wondering what u all thought.

I got the lancer just wanted to make sure it was the right choice..... Ahh well I love it so that's all that matters

There are 1.8L, 2.0L and 2.2L EJ engines overseas. I'm not sure the displacement for the Aussie's base model scooby.
I just don't like how the scooby look, with most of the specs being the same, go for the Lancer
