If you love to drive the EVO is for you, but if just want to cruise in comfort then get the S4.

Is this gonna be a car for yourself to drive to and from work, or do you need to transport clients around?

If you make the company pay for such an expensive car, it might jeopardize your career even though they "say" they're willing. Have them get you a loaded Camry or Accord, and get an Evo on your own.

The company I work for, a family owned business wants to buy me a car. I love the audi's performance and creature comforts, the evo is a very fast car, faster in fact than the audi s4 but when I drove the evo I was not impressed as in the s4 I was totally impressed. The choice for me on my own would be to get the s4, but the company will not pay for it. They will pay for a fully loaded bmw 330xi which costs 46 or 47 thousand but not the s4 which costs a couple of thousand more. I am fully willing to pay the extra 7-10 thousand for the car I want plus come to work at 7am. I will do anything for the s4. What do you think? Do you think that there is a some hope for me in the audi? Remember, they (the company) does not want me to have to cars, like an accord for work and a fun car outside of work. My father told me that a fully loaded infiniti g35 coupe would be acceptable as well as the bmw.

am I the only one who's noticing the price difference between those two?

$20,000 and non turbo V8 vs turbo 4?

If this is for your client, I would go with S4. If this is for you, I would still go with S4, if you could afford it.

You're talking about 2 completely different class of cars.

If you want an audi, why are you even here? Go take your problem somewhere else.

THIS IS AN MITSUBISHI EVOLUTION FORUM. NOT "SHOULD I GET AN AUDI OR A BMW" FORUM.

Didn't you read? He asked for thoughts regarding the Evo vs S4. Seems like it belongs on an Evo forum. Sheesh, take a f'in chill pill.

What kind of f'd up company is this? Is this YOUR family's business or just A family business? Who cares if a company doesn't want you to have two cars... it's not their concern. They can't keep you from getting two cars. Did you get an actual price limit on the car they would lease for you? It sounds like the limit is $40-45K. Do you just have to commute to work, or show customers around, or what? You haven't given much detail that could affect the decision.
Either get the MR, if it will even be possible to lease that car, or get a loaded G35 coupe. It'll be a lease, so you probably don't want to mod it heavily.
Your other choice is to lease a cheaper car like people have been saying (Accord, SRT-4, WRX), thereby doing the over-controlling family business a favor, and buy your own fun car that you can mod.
