ok, i've had the type-s rsx and it was an awesome car, but... my wife is driving our 04 wrx now. THERE IS NO COMPARISON!!!! the wrx kicks the rsx's ars all over the place. the rsx is nice, very nice, but...... the wrx is one of the most stable vehicles on the road. it is very forgiving and oh so much fun to drive. also, the rsx doesn't have much character, and is very hard to get a lot of power out of w/o crazy $$. oh and it's very bland to drive.

You said new car at 22K right? If I'm not mistaken the WRX is closer to 27K sticker. Would not get RSX (used to work for American Honda).

yep....when I was shopping around last year the cheapest WRX I could find was $24k......and they went as high as $27k as you said. For that much $$$ I'd save up an extra $5k and get an STI

22? thats like a Impreza RS rite? The 04 Wrx has a higher base price I believe hahha

RSx kinna has a nice look but I always thought of it as the wannabe Celica ... Id say SRT4 if you want power *but remember... in the long run the look is still just a NEON hahah * ... You could go for Mazda 6 or 3 ...

Shoot you could go 19g for a Civic Si ^_^ hahahha ....

Get a wrx.
Few years back I would choose the RSX but after the Evo, my whole view of cars changed. I don't lust for luxury anymore and I don't miss it too much really... weird.

You can get an 04 WRX for 22K (base, minimal accessories, +$1500 rebate) now that 05's are out. Hmm I guess i'm most likely going with the WRX if I buy new. But I'm still considering if I should just buy any used cars under 18K and save my parents some money!
