i'd get rsx for couple of reasons

1. pretty stylish exterior
2. one of the best interiors ive ever seen
3. 6-spd manny
4. 200hp (or something like that) is sufficient unless you want a modable car...this car is NOT meant to be modded with it's pitifully chocked down i-vtec engine
5. acura's renowned durability/reliability
6. this baby has bose stereo with amp (i think)...STOCK

of course, if you're into racing n stuff, then stay away from rsx...

shows how much u know about hondas....bose stereo with amp (i think) huh? its bose subwoofer, btw rsx can run low 14's with couple hundred dollars(hondata ecu) and OEM STOCK type R parts! thats all u need to be running 13's

i hate rsx's im an integra guy, but they are more tunable then the B series honda's i hate to say...hytech/toda makes a street kit for the rsx, its NA tuned engine package gives u 11.2+:1 compression, 11000 redline and makes 394 wheel horsepower, ALL MOTOR, package is about $3995 and runs on pump gas

I'd go with the WRX (I hate the way neons look too) the WRX has more power its all wheel drive and will hook up way better than FWD its easy to mod and has more space than the RSX.

i'd say look for a 1995 M3 w/ an OBD 1 ecu. u can find babied versions for about $20-25k. there's an intake manifold alone good for 79 hp. tons of turbo options, superchargers, V8's, etc... if i had to pick, i would go subie all the way. it's still made in japan (srt-4 is made in mexico so reliability is questionable) & it is just as fast as an srt-4. srt-4 can get up in a str8 line but turns like a truck. srt-4 is screwed wrx if it rains & wants to go fast...

uh.....no.....the WRX usually does 14.5 in the 1/4 mile in the mags at 92mph and the SRT-4 has done 13.9 secs at about 100mph. Also in SCC the SRT-4 has a better skidpad number than the WRX and a faster slalom speed. The SRT-4 also has about a 10hp advantage. The only way a stock WRX is faster than a stock SRT-4 in a straight line or on a track is to put about an inch of standing water on the track

If you want a fast import and not a "check me out" car just to waste time in get a clean 93-95 civic coupe for 5-6 grand, drop about 8 or 9 grand into it and kick the crap out of everything around in a straight line. You could probably keep it streetable, and if something breaks you have the fun of learning about cars to look forward to. Why spend 22k on a new car if you cant afford to mod it afterwards? You will just have a stock whatever, plain vanilla like everyone elses ride. Modify and show everyone your style. Just my 02 cents.

Add a huge aluminum wing, some altezzas and you're set!

Sorry that just sounded funny when the mods are worth more than the car.

srt-4 they handle ok, lsd in the 04's, their times are close to wrx in the 1/4 but not the mph's from any type of roll the srt will walk the wrx.
i just traded my rsx-s on a black 04 srt i wouldnt go back its a great car. the only car under 40k i would pick over the srt is the evo. unless you can get a good deal on an elise.

you said snow. between the two... wrx is the best in the snow, and probably pretty fun in the snow.
