Supposedly that z06 had Heads done, different cam, and was sprayed.

That z06 also blew up... so obviously (if it was a H+C car) there's a good chance it wasn't running right.

LOL, the owner of that evo is a member of this forum. Maybe he'll see this thread and reply with some details of what exactly happened that night. THere is diffinitely something wrong with the z06 even before the race began.

12.2@117MPH you must of had the fastest stock ZO6 on the planet to run that time!

Don't get me wrong, ZO6 is very fast, but aren't there plenty of 320WHP to 340WHP EVOs out there with not too much money invested running low 12s@110-114MPH??? Too bad for that ZO6 though, could have been a good race.

I have beat multiple Z06 in the quarter mile. From a roll it is a very very good race though. But from a stop we can get them buy about 2 cars

There's no way in hell a stock evo owned a stock z06 from a rolling start. Dude - do the math. There aren't many modded evo's that could do that - the z06's are monstrous - I'd compare my (stock) evo to my (used to own) 350Z - just that the evo has the turbo lag and the Z had great all-around torque... But a z06, even a normal C5 vette - if you factor out the tire shredding launch factor from a standing start - there's no way in hell. Unless my evo is seriously under-performing... my .02.

First off who said stock, and doesn't take too much money to get your EVO to trap well over 110MPH. If you spend more time at this site, you'll see that there are plenty, and I mean plenty of EVOs that can take a stock ZO6. Yeah maybe your EVO is seriously under performing, or maybe you just can't drive... my .02.
