Hasport makes a motor mount kit to get the H22 into the 94 civic. if you want an understeering pig, then you can do that. costs depends on the type of H22. a B16 is your best choice, cuz those can be pulled from multiple sources, Late model Del Sol Vtecs, and previous Civic Si coupes. You can also get the JDM one which has a slight HP advantage over the american one, but it's a miniscule advantage for a large amount of money.
for motor mounts, check HAsport, for engines, go to Libero USA or a shop in the area. I'm from Alexandria, and i know of a few reputable shops up here.
EDIT: one more thing. are you building it up for outright power or just replacing the engine? cuz if you're just replacing it to get it running, there's a junkyard in MD that will sell stock motors and stuff, just need to get them checked for compression and leaks and stuff. for outright power, hit me up

Seriously if you want some really good info go check out www.Honda-tech.com I've been a member over there for a like 3 and 1/2 years now and those guys know what they are talking about. Just go into the EG+ civic forum and ask your question.

Unless the car is an SI, EX, or VX it will not have the wiring for VTEC activation, so putting in any VTEC motor will result in some minor wires needing to be added. If you put in a B18B from a 94 or 95 Integra RS/LS/GS you will not need to do any wiring whatsoever. These motors are plenty cheap and really give a civic enough gusto to tolerate it as a daily driver. In order to do this swap, you will need the complete drivetrain from the Integra, motor, trans, PS pump, alternator, manifolds, axles, clutch, mounts, wiring harness (engine only) and computer. The Integra engine harness will plug into your civic's chassis harness, and the Integra computer will plug into your civic's chassis harness as well. It is really a VERY simple swap, something I could pull off in 2 hours provided I had all the parts (I've done many of these). There are other details you need to worry about though... if your civic has A/C and you want to keep it, you'll need to use the lower front drivers side engine mount (also the A/C bracket) from a Del Sol VTEC. That'll allow your civic A/C compressor to bolt up. Use the Del Sol belt as well. Your exhaust should bolt up to the Integra cat as well, but you'll want something bigger to flow enough air for the 1.8L. If you want any more info just PM me... To give you a price idea of a complete "kit" to do this swap www.sohfast.com sells a package for $2200, it includes everything you need. You can definately find them cheaper than that, I just wanted to give you a reference. FYI, you can also use a 96-97 engine, but you'll need a 94-95 ECU.

Or you can do what I did four days ago. Buy a JDM D15B VTEC (130 HP) and swap it in your Civic. If the stock engine is a D series engine, then you can use your stock tranny, and motor mounts. Your car won't be super mega fast, but at least you can use it as a daily driver.
