i think i want a supra
Good luck
Trading it in probably not an option; Dealership's do not usually have a Turbo Supra on the lot to trade.Easy to get big hp; however, very expensive to do it right
HP isn't everything. You'll tire of the Supra's inability to put down even a tame 400whp in 1st and 2nd gear in short order. AWD is the ultimate for high HP street cars, if you ran race slicks or drag radials all the time it would be a different story... but it's not.
I drive a 418rwhp 300zx Twin-Turbo, I'm not into 150+mph highway pulls so it doesn't make much sense to get any more power... it can't put it to the ground at any legal speeds anyway. (on street tires) It's MORE than enough power for any track events, even in high-speed 3rd gear corner exits it can step out the rear with moderate throttle application.
...that's why I'm selling my Z for an Evo MR.

The Supra is a great car in many ways. It has great looks, good power, and decent reliability. But you're talking about trading an '03 Evo with a possible ten-year-old Supra. Is it really what you want?
If we're comparing stock cars, I think the Supra turbo and the Evo have similar performance on a straight line, but the Evo can easily out-pace the Supra in the twisties. They both respond to mods very well, and it's just as easy to get 500+ whp in an Evo as in a Supra. After the mods, you'll have to worry about putting all the horsepower via just two wheels. Wheelspin burn-out is fun to watch, but unnecessary for racing (unless you're drifting).
Have you considered a used NSX for about the same money?

Yes Supra is very expensive to mod for the big power, and big dyno numbers don't always translate to impressive performance results (they don't call the Supra the Dyno King for nothing). Trade in the EVO and I fear you may regret it, I could be wrong though, it's up to you. But if your just thinking performance, the Supra isn't a performance upgrade in my opinion.
checkl this out 460hp for 1400 dollars what the hell..
