what do you guys think about this car? I know they overheat alot but after my lancer, im thinking about purchasing it and rebuild the turbo.

I use to love the RX-7, but that was ten years ago. A car that old is gonna have more problems than just the turbo. Expect to fix the drivetrain, body, and other parts as well...

Why not consider a used NSX or S2000 or Evo?

The FD RX7 is an amazing car but I would recommend researching them a bit over at Club RX7.

Actually, you should read the thread where the FD guys figure out how much money they have spent on the car. Maintenance is what generally eats up their funds - moreso than mods. Here is that thread.

i agree...but it depends on the previous owners. if youve got good owners that keep up on their maitnance, tune-ups, body work, and everything else then you may avoid a handfull of problems.
