From the looks of it, they really didn't screw it up. The new Z06 is going to terrorize the GT class of the SCCA's Speed World Challenge, I'm sure.

If I could only justify the $52K, and wait for the Z06 to come out. Though I guess if I waited until then I probably could justify it. But I'd need a winter car... oh well!

I have seen 5 on the road in person....4 were in a convoy going somewhere. They are actually very striking on the street. I thought it was a ferrari at first when i caught a glimpse for a second when a yellow one was pulling out.

 

I saw one on the road in Raleigh this past weekend. Pretty nice, but I'll have to get used to that new grille...

No, it's a test mule. Don't think you can buy one yet. I can barely afford the payments on the Evo, let alone a C6 .

Beautiful car. I love american cars too. A Corvette/Mustang Cobra would have been my second choice.

 

mustang cobra...lol, mach1 is the top mustang now..but i'd still take an Evo over that.

Quickly modified my budget to see how much cash I'd have if I wasn't supporting my folks...

... I could get a C6 with the Z51 package without feeling guilty at all.

Of course I'd end up wanting a Z06 regardless. And I'd need a winter car... bah!

 

are you talking about the 05's? i dont think there is a mach1 in 05, but i know there is no SVT for 05.. think the GT is top dog now

but in 04, Cobra had a 390hp supercharged twinOHC motor, bigger brakes, beefier suspension, and independent rear suspension.. while the mach1 was basically a ram-air, twin OHC version of the GT

Man the C6's are awesome! I was about to get a 03 Z06 but decided to go with lower payments and got the Evo. I think the C6 looks very exotic. I like how they changed the headlights. Looks like a Ferrari from the front. Now if they would make a C6 Z06 with AWD I would be on that in a second.
