only thing the STI will beat the Evo in is a straight line and thats stock vs stock drop the price difference between evo and STI (about 3,000) into an Evo and you could get a Vishnu Stage 1+ kit now we are talkin cars that are valued the same Evo would blow the STI away so bad it wouldn't know what hit him.... and thats in a straight line don't get me started on the corners.

 

STis around my area are driven by cool ppl. always shows thumbs up after we raced.

that is, not to say i condone or support street racing. they're just the funniest sections on forums--so many trolls, lots of joking around... stuff like that

But the evokila plate - it's pretty funny. Not as funny as a Scion w/ viprkila

 

over here in socal the STi owners are cocky! They think they are the fastest cars! and everytime i encounter an Sti owner i give them the a thumbs up or a wave and they would just look at me and give me a thumbs down or shout out evos are slow! WTF! i mean they cant take a compliment! i know their cars are fast but they shouldnt be ignorant about it telling other cars they are slow..BOO TO YOU STI OWNERS!..i know not all of them are like this but the ones i encounter are truely a$$holes!

 

There are a good mixture of age group here. As far as alot of EVOM memeber being immature, I think that's an overstatement. I think that alot of us here are very mature and are car gearheads. Alot of us respect the STIs and it's rare to see some1 here talking trash about it. As for EVO being faster, I believe the EVO is truly having the upper hand for right now regard power after modifications. You know who is cocky? I think the SRT4 guys are pretty darn cocky. They think they are the ****...

Ummm, as far as my personal experience has gone, the STI does "kill" the EVO in stock straight line performance. It should. It has the HP advantage. So for the "yeah right" coments, well literally, yeah, that's right. They do. Face it.

If you want to get into modded scenarios, yes the EVO takes the cake in mod responsiveness.

And about the whole STI's suck, EVO's rule, or EVO's suck, STI rules...... It's kinda hard to hate one without hating the other, or love one without loving the other.

 

I have an STI and my plates say EVO KLR cause i think its funny but I like evos too .. and always talk to everybody no matter what car u have. I love cars and love to talk about cars with people. I will say i have learned that douches buy all types of vehicles though to include sti and evo lol

my buddy has EVO KLR on his 450AWHP sti and evo buddy has STI KLR (on his 600 hp evo...)


- i have STI LOL (parked beside a subi in a show and he hated it, we got the most pics there lol) I have nothing against subi's, I love em actually but once again car rivalries will never die.
