I didn't get the chance to see the guy to ask him what he has in the car. The car has a catback exhaust.
And finally, I'm getting my car back after 1 1/2 months because of an accident (spun the car because of unwarmed tires). The insurance company sucks as far as processing the paper work. Lots of delays. They replaced the rear left strut and control arms. I test drove it and works the same as before. It's being detailed and I'm picking it up tomorrow.

 

I saw him too... maybe not the same guy, but a black STI with black rims and it said "EVOKILA". I saw him on 680 north. around the 580 interchange.

Hmmm. Yes, black with black rimms. It was on a Safeway by Crow Canyon Blvd, which is by 680. I really wanted to see what he has on that car. Looks like we have 2 STIs with unknown mods.

 

STI as EVO killa? hahaha... It should be the other way around. Some STI owners on the NASIOC forum have to spend over 15K to make their sti 390whp. We can get that number with the evo on stock turbo. It would be funny to see those stis with that plate get beaten by an evo.

 

if u thought that a sti with license plate evo is wierd... i saw a scion xB yesteryday except they replaced scion emblem to BMW and it says 2.5 xl instead of xB

stis suck evo owns for some reason alot of subaru owners are cocky and or jerks with their car. its like uh dude just cause you have 29FWHP dosent mean i still cant woop your *** just look at my mizods!

OK. I hope you drive better than you type. I have found that most of the STi drivers that I have met are well educated and can converse on an intelligent level. Of course there are exceptions to the rule.

 

It's all depended upon perspective and personal experience. Yea, most STI owners that I have met are pretty cool. The first time that I talked to a stranger STI owner and he asked me to race him. hahaha... It was a pleasant experience because he ended up getting his *** owned and same with his buddy.

In term of power after modification, I think the evo is far ahead of the STI right now. I think the biggest advantage of the EVO is the cheap and ease of modding the internals. And there is not much that we need to do at 400-500whp. The STI needs some major engine modification to achieve that power. At the same time, it cost them a lot more to mod that 2.5 boxer.
