2003 svt cobra

decided to get one over an evo, yes i know its a "straight line car" and that its "american muscle" but i like american cars anyway. the handling is not bad with its independant rear. very low body roll. comfy ride.

3k in mods with a tune i'll be hittin 475hp/tq at the rear wheels.

what u guys think

Been there done that, now back in an Evo. I had an 03 with a predator, cat delete, catback, and intake. Easy low 12's traction limited...but the car handled like a pig in comparison and high speed driving was downright scary. Step on the brakes hard at 120 and let me know how buttoned down she feels

Bad *** car for straight line... but if that still satisfied me I would have kep my 92 coupe and tweaked the hell out of it for half the price.

i just traded my 2003 cobra in for a F250 crewcab.... i ran 12.4@116mph with just exhaust and chip....

You should be at 480rwhp for about $500... a 2.8' pully and belt along with either predator tune or chip tune.... no need to spend $3k.

I had both the Evo and the Cobra at the same time and obviously like the Evo better.... the mustang was cool for exhaust sound for sure..... but it was hard to get hooked up (the stock F1's suck), bad mileage, mine ticked, no snow driving, small back seat, horrible shifter, slow no feel steering.....but it did sound awesome!....... i may buy a convertible cobra down the road.

You cant go wrong with a blown V8!

I had an 03 cobra (Denscharger CAI, Borla stingers, Nitto drag radials) and the thing was an absolute monster in a straight line. I bought the Evo because I needed a four door and wanted something that would handle and stop. I do miss the cobra though. From a second gear pull, it was UNSTOPPABLE.

Hopefully ford make the new cobra with some handling and quality in mind. With some brute power and the some serious refinements, I think the new cobra can be among the legends!!!!
