Tanner to be honest with you I have just had cash deals and people with pre-arranged financing. If you lived here in Texas I could figure a lease thru a outside source. Not sure where you live or what your local lease programs would be like. We could sell the car to a leasing company and you could then lease the car from them since you are probably out of state.

You would need to do the leg work as far as payments, mileage needed, and term of the lease. We would sell the car at MSRP to a leasing company.

No they are behind the times. They were supposed to have a finance company to lease the cars and nothing ever happened.

i was just going off of reference.. i know in the past they came with b18c5 motors.. for the sake of argument i'd rather have a f20c1 or h22a4 motor over ANY toyota engine... i have lost all respect for toyota

but like i said before, is there any aftermarket company devoted to the lotus elise?

Lotus almost went for a Honda Vtec motor but they said said the Toyota powerplant gave them the results they were after. I heard it was like pulling teeth to get Toyota to make the powerplants for the Elise.

Sun Motorsports was offering Elises to the US market with the B18C5. That was a few years ago....obviously before the federalized elise was available here. And I really don't think Sun got the Fed clearances to deliver any b18C5 motored Elises before the idea went belly-up.

btw, Lotus decided to not use the B18c5 because Honda stopped making it in 2001. If the B18c5 was still in production, you can bet that motor would be under the hood and not the Toyota.

Just wondering, why didn't Lotus consider the K20A2 (RSX Type S) I mean 200HP/142TQ and they could of tweeked it for more power just like Honda has already done (210HP/143TQ for 2005 models)? Not sure on the weight of the two engines, either way the Elise is bad *** and your Elise looks great.

too bad that lotus dropped the ball on a finance co. the elise would have been a good car to lease, i think. residual values will probably be pretty good. and most people will keep the car stock and put very few miles on it.

Since the Elise uses the Celica engine, can people use TRD parts on their Elise, wouldn't some of the same aftermarketparts that are available for the Celica GT-S go with the Elise?

The rest will use it as a track car and bring it back with 10,000 track day miles.
