Thats is crazy....even though a CBR1000 can not go 205mph it was still around 180-190

 

probably changed out the gearing or it was a gsxr1300 those can easily get 200mph when setup correctly..

 

If it was a CBR1100 XX, then it could get to 200. They just said, it was a 1000, so its kinda hard to say what he was riding.

 

Don't you go to jail for going that fast?

 

A new Honda CBR 1000 will def. go 200mph.

I think it will have trouble unless you have done it yourself??? My 954RR goes to an indicated top speed of about 176mph, which is really about 160. The gearing on these bikes isnt for top speed. The only bikes that I know of that go 200+ are the Hyabusa and the CBR1100XX. I don't even think the ZX12R goes to 200.

 

I would have to be suicidal or have a mental disability to go that fast on the highway.

 

I went to top speed on mine and it scared the living **** out of me....no more will I ever do that....

 

Kid was county sheriff's son The guy was clocked from the airplane at 205MPH, so that's how fast he was going, not how fast his speedo showed - that is if the stopwatch was correct.

I am also trying to find out what bike he rode (other then Honda 1000) and with what mods. Please post if anyone knows...

give or take 10mph for human error...it's still pretty fast

 

 

205mph....he should of just outran the cops.
