I think your best bet would be to let the Insurance total it out and take the money, then buy it back and part it out. Unlikely anyone will pay 16k for that, or anywhere close. Just want to be realistic. Sucks that happened right after you bought it
^not true at all, evo prices are taking a huge spike. A 159k mile similarly damaged evo ix recently sold on copart for 15k, plus buyer would have had to pay abunch of other member fees so op's would actually be cheaper than that. If I were you though OP I would part out you can probably get more and youl probably have to sit on the car for awhile to get your full asking. Sorry this happened..

Needs better pics of the undercarriage. By the amount of rust present in the engine bay and body, it would be interesting to see how the rear frame rail area is. Not trying to be rude by any means, GLWS
