Evo Quirks/Comments
> 5th gear syncro is damaged, normal driving you will not notice, but high speed (RPM) shifting you will need to double clutch to avoid a slight grind
> Gas door lever is broken, so need to open the gas door from the trunk
> Car sometimes stalls when A/C is on and car is coming to a stop, likely a tuning issue, car was tuned up north and now resides in more humid climate
> RS has little to no sound deadening so will hear engine, exhaust, drivetrain, rack, and suspension noise
> Exhaust is reasonably loud, but not obnoxious
> Power steering rack does creak on occasion when turning at low speeds
> OEM wheels, suspension, and rear bumper not available
> 1 track day, and a half-dozen or so autocrosses around the south (NC, SC, GA)
> I have put ~42,000 miles on car over ~8 years, and it’s been very reliable
> Owned since 2013, and lots of good maintenance history available
This is a relatively high mileage Evo that's been well-taken care of. It is not a minter or garage queen, I have driven it and its been outside under a cover, so do not expect perfection. Categorizing this as more of a "drivers" car and not a "show" car, although you could always go that direction if you'd like. Would love this to go to a true Evo enthusiast on this forum to enjoy more for years to come. Let me know if you have any questions. Call or text preferred. 412-849-0938. Thanks, Mike
