  • Price
    $55
  • Location Green Bay, WI, 54313, USA
  • Condition New
Description:

If your heater temp knob is stuck, you most likely only need these new (revised) gears and a new cable to fix it!

1) I created this how-to fix video :

2) I've bought and packed together the OEM cable and revised gears to fix this

3) I'll ship next day

Paypaling me (celicamero@hotmail.com) $55 will cover shipping(continental US) and any fees to get you these 2 items shipped to your door.

Kit includes OEM parts:

(1) 7801A110 - revised gears
(1)MR979515 - wire

Could you save a little money buying these pieces elsewhere? Yes. Would you get them shipped as fast, probably not. Would you be helping a fellow evoM member and evo video creator? No.

I currently have 1 kit in stock and 10 more on the way.

This will work on 2002-2007 Lancer's and 2003-2006 EVO's. Possibly others. FYI, If your heater knob is broken, you may need more than just this kit. Comment with your situation and i can try to help out.

Thanks!- Paul (Boosted Films)

It was my understanding that no evo's would have got them from the factory. It would have most likely been changed by someone else is you do.

If you have no issue with a hard turning knob, i wouldn't worry about it.

Thanks so much for making this video! It's the next project that I'm going to tackle and I wanted as much info as possible before I start tearing into my dash.

I still don't quite get the cable attachment point on the control unit, but I'll poke around with a flat head and see what I can figure out.

You mentioned that if the heater knob was broken that we may need more than just these parts. Do you just mean that we would also need a new knob? They seem pretty hard to come by and I could use to replace all three.

Thanks for the info and the quality video!

I mean, if the shaft the knob goes onto is broken, you need more parts than this.

Ok, gotcha. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing anything else. Looks like the shaft is fine.

Thanks!

Broke the white plastic stud where the knob connects to. I want to purchase the kit but also the part to replace the plastic stud.

Its possible to fix... but your probably better off buying the whole control unit.
Not mine, just a link for reference. https://www.ebay.com/itm/2002-2006-M...7bdc%7Ciid%3A1
