Thumbs down Don't trust cbell386. Scammed!

So I'm in the middle of a dispute with cbell386 between paypal and my bank and who knows how long or far it's gonna have to go. If yous use the marketplace you might remember him trying to sell or trade is buschur 3582r kit. Well I bought it and sent him 1450 for it and haven't heard a single word since! Don't trust him or do business with. Beware of this guy! I know he is on here and also at socalevo so just watch out and tell everyone. I don't want him to do it again to someone else!

This is exactly why I use cc's for everything through Paypal. If Paypal won't do squat which they usually won't, dispute it and submit it as fraud. With most cc's out there they'll stick Paypal with the bill who will chase down the seller.

I sent the money on sept 28th. He even told me he recieved the payment and would keep me updated and not a word since. And yeah paypal isn't doing anything about it so I'm stuck trying to go through my bank to get it back.

That's a lot of money to lose like this (If he doesn't come through). I hope you get your money back from this guy. If not I guess the only thing you can do is just notify the Mods or Admins about this. Provide receipts and whatever else you can so they can take action against this member.

Yeah I told an admin about the issue before I even posted this thread. Paypal already **** the boat and said they talked to the dude already also and they won't be refunding me so it's up to my bank now and if that doesn't work I'll have to take it farther. I hate sneaky people like this guy.

He posted your kit up for sale/trade yesterday on socalevo. You might want to start up a thread on that forum stating what happened. I actually just went through my PM box and I have his phone # from a local transaction I did with him, if you need/want it

Yeah I actually don't have an account with socal but I think I'm gonna make one to warn everyone. His number would actually help me out if you want to PM me with it. Thanks.
