Sent payment and NOTHING heard from WickedWhite6

I was talkin to a member of EvoM for about a week about a set of Wedsport Wheels he had. we agreed to a price and when he was gonna ship them and when i was going to send the money. only thing was that he wanted a wire transfer because he needed the money asap. i thought it was a little bit fishy so i said no at first. then i asked him to send me a picture of the wheels with a paper with the username, date and time...he did. i checked all his info out and it matched up, where he lived, where the bank was etc

so i sent the money. before this we had legit conversations about the cars and work that was done and he had other parts as well. so he seemed legit. little did i know he was a lying sack of ****!

as soon as i sent the money, not one response! i called maybe 40 times total now, emailed him multiple times, pm'd him, i even found him on FACEBOOK!! NOTHING! he took my money and called it a day!

Admins, what can i do about this? can you guys help out in anyway? i went to the bank and even the police, no one wants to do anything.. i dont want to take actions into my own hands..

You're pretty much screwed if you wire someone money unfortunately, hopefully the mods can help out so he at least won't be able to sell on this site anymore.

Contact the bank and explain the situation, if the money was sent for goods then you could file a claim and his bank will be contacted by your bank of the situation. I think that's how that works idk I just know you can file a claim tru your bank

To do anything you will have to take him to small claims court in the city where he lives, it's the only way. There are no jurisdictions for online transactions so you just have to take care of it in civil court. You're pretty much screwed if he lives far away.

yea i went to my bank and she tried real hard to find some sort of law or protection that can get my money bank but she said because it was a wire transfer, it like handing cash over. she told me i can go to the police department and file a claim. im going to try and contact his bank just to verify the money got sent over and to see if this person really exists. i have all off his info, bank account number, routing number, name, address. i did some personal searchin online and found his facebook and found his mom and dad. everything adds up, its just the matter that he simply does not respond to me...at all!

Damn man that sucks. So the police cant do nothing even if you got all his info? I bet you can do something with that. What about if something happened to him? you never know.
Gl man, now you know not to deal like that again.
