Unable to reach jamesmcquiniff for the BoV I bought. It has been a week now since he got payment and said he would ship and send me tracking number and no reply here or through e-mail. I am at this point submitting a dispute via paypal.

Edit: Okay offically escalted this as a fraud claim. The e-mail address he used is chevyredneck27@gmail.com .

 

Seriously? It has been one week.... At least give him another before you get all crazy.

 

I dont mind if he needs a bit longer to ship things, but he needs to TELL me. Absolute silence for a week is just bad. Most people start dispute resolution after a week of non-communication...it's just that in my case, he started from the get go.

 

sorry, i dont know the rules for posting opinions here but, ive owned a business for over 20 years. in todays terms a week is quite a while... if someones not replied or paid on a deal in a week, the deals toast.. if you dont have time to handle selling things, dont get started. it really does take some time and effort to box and ship things, send out tracking numbers etc..

Well the thing is I understand things happen and you can get busy, but at least a PM or e-mail to tell me so is warranted. It's the one week with zero contact that is the real issue. If he needed a couple weeks to do it and sent me the message, I really wouldn't have any issues. One week ignoring my PM and e-mail message and yeah, I'm gonna start dispute resolution so I can get my money back so I can buy the next bit for my car.

 

Okay nearly two weeks with not a peep from this guy. Gonna go from open dispute to outright fraud claim unless he gets in touch with me by tommarow.

Nope, he has not been on since he accepted the money...but then again I did sent e-mail and dispute resolution messages via paypal so not logging on here is no bloody excuse. Anyways, put in a fraud claim against him via paypal and will change OP to include his e-mail so people can know to avoid him.
