this could easily be solved by the seller providing a dated picture of how the bumper looked right before it was shipped to show condition before it was sent. Then your case against fedex would make more sense.
Before shipping ANYTHING that should be mandatory for any good seller, somewhat like proof against any damage that may occur during transit.
Does the seller have any pictures of how the item was packaged? or condition of how it looked prior to being dropped off to Fedex? Bumpers in general I would say should be a "local" pick up only due to size and ease of damage if not handled properly....Fedex just throws everything into the back of the truck & your poor merchandise is completely at the whim of the level of packaging it came in....
