Anubis18 is a Scammer/Thief

On December 28 Anubis18 and I worked out a deal to trade is replica JDM bumper for my Revolver Evo 8 Cams. Both of us shipped the items on the 28th. I received the replica JDM rear on January 4th and the bumper was either ruined in shipping or not as he described in his thread. The corners that meet the quarter panel were pretty damaged pretty bad, the corners by the trunk/tail lights were all cracked up and the bumper had stress cracks running through the entire bumper... Here are some pictures of how I received the bumper:

I immediately called FedEx to file a claim and I am told the bumper has to go back to the sender while FedEx looks into if the shipper is at fault or if they are. This claim was made Jan 4th, which is the same day I received the bumper. I have been in contact with Anubis18 until recently, which is why I am making this post. FedEx told me it would take roughly 5 business days for Anubis18 to get an answer from them, which would have been Jan 11. I understand that process make take a little longer, but Anubis18 tells me he will call FedEx, then when I ask him 3-4 days latter for an update he says he never called them. This has happened on several occasions. As of recent I haven't gotten a response from him since Jan 3o, which again he told me he would call them. I feel that I have been more than patient in this matter, but it is getting completely out of hand.

This is your last chance Anubis18, before I go to local police, either send me the cams back or give me the trade value that we agreed on. For all other Buyers/Sellers, beware of this guy unless you want a month or longer headache.

He never pmd me. I had no update from fedex, so what would I tell him. Still waiting. Not a whole lot i could do.

He got impatient. Not my fault FedEx takes for **** ever to do a damage claim. You ever file one? Garautee you don't know the whole process and how long it takes. I told him that I am shipping his stuff back so he doesn't have to worry about anything. He's out only the time he coulda sold his cams. I'm out $400 for the damaged bumper.

Someone could have a 100 feedback and then start scamming people. Just because someone has feedback, doesn't mean they are the best seller/buyer in the world. This also started almost 2 months ago now. I got a text saying he would file a claim and then nothing for a couple weeks, with little contact when he did text back. I warned him I would make a thread once if this wasn't resolved and 3 weeks later I finally made the thread. I have been more than patient and given him more than enough time to deal with FedEx. I understand the process isn't short, but he had the bumper back in his possession on 1-15-13 or somewhere around that date. I have made claims with FedEx and none have taken more than 14 days, so tell me how a month later, I have no bumper, no cams and no money...

Please tell me how I am impatient... It has been over a month since you got your bumper back and I still have no cams or money. I was more than patient, especially with your lack of communication. You also told me numerous times that you would call FedEx, a week would go by and nothing, you again said you would call them because you forgot or whatever excuse it may have been. Most people would have made this thread much earlier. I gave you plenty of opportunities to make this right, you failed to do anything until this thread was made.

I still have not gotten a phone call from FedEx. I've called on several occasions and they say its still pending. I can keep you updated by telling you everyday that its still pending if you'd like.

Sounds like you've done this before. This does not make me a scammer or a thief. I will have your cams shipped back to you tomorrow with tracking. Sorry for the inconvience. This was out of my hands. Please delete this when you receive your cams.

I've had items that were shipped to me damaged. I've yet to have an item I've shipped be damaged because I over pack everything. I also had to work with FedEx for a store I ran in New York when recieving damaged goods, yet it never took over a month in any instance for something to happen.

You are the first person I've ever done a trade with where there was an issue. I've had multiple setups on my Evo and other cars, but never had to wait over a month for an issue to be resolved...

This was resolved on 2/15 when I pm'd you

So even according to you. Which you said I got my bumper back from FedEx around 1/15, which sounds about right. That would be exactly 30 days. It has not been 2 months. I know it feels like its been a lot longer. Trust me, I'm the one out on a lot of money because of this. You are blowing this way out of proportion though.

It's midnight now and I just got home. I've been sitting at the airport since 11am flying everywhere. So when I wake up I will ship your cams back to you as I promised.

Until I either have the cams or money, this is not resolved.

Wait. Are you telling me that things are more quickly resolved with FedEx when it involves a business, with full-time employees dealing with shipping on a full-time basis, than when it involves a private citizen who has a completely separate job? I'm shocked! Shocked, I tell you.

Add in that you called the other guy a scammer and a thief with no evidence of such, and still haven't retracted or apologized for doing so, and I conclude that you should be happy that you're getting your money or cams back by spring.

I've dealt with FedEx on a personal and business level. In both instances the claims were handled much quicker than this.

My basis for calling him a scammer or a theif is based on the fact that this guy has both the bumper and my cams. If he was a legit guy he would have either paid for the cams once he got his bumper back or simply ship the cams back. I still have no cams, no money or even a tracking number showing he did ship the cams back. I warned him 3 weeks ago I would be making a thread if this wasn't resolved then no communication from him until this thread was made. It seems sketchy to me. I also searched the box for broken pieces of the bumper and found a couple small pieces, for all I know the bumper was pretty jacked to begin with.

I'm glad as a moderator you stick up for the guy that has both items from the trade and leaving the other party with no communication. This is not a personal attack at you I'm just saying. So there's no need to PM me again and threaten to use you special moderator privileges.

Your criteria for "scammer" and/or "thief" are different from mine (and, I would guess, those of most people). Tons of legitimate transactions include some point where everything is in one person's hands. By your definition, all of these would involve scammers and theives.

The above clearly implies that I have PM'd you in the past which we both know isn't true. I now doubt everything that you've said, due to this one mistake, because this is the one thing for which I know the truth-value and it is false. Dumb move, dude.

You have PM'd me in the past. I can forward you the PM if you'd like... It was in a thread regarding JDL where again you came in trying to be Mr. Moderator and PM'd me, in which you stated you would use your moderator powers if I continued to argue with you. I hope that refreshes your memory bit.

So dumb move on your part for either not checking your PM history or deleting it and forgetting about it. Also +1 for my credibility in this instance for having documentation like I have in my first post in this thread. Looks like I just out internetz you my friend.

I, honestly, have no reason to lie. I felt as if Anubis18 scammed me. Picture it from my eyes... You organize a trade, both parties send their items. One receives the item damaged and FedEx has to send it back to the original party it is their policy and is common knowledge. Then the party stops all communication and has both items from the trade. To me that is a scam. In the scam he stole my cams making him a thief. If you can't see it through my eyes or don't agree with my view of it you haven't reason to really post anything other than asking if this issue is resolved. Once I have my cams or money for them I have no problem with the thread deleted or whatnot, but I won't allow him to screw someone else in the future. Sorry for giving a **** about the buying/selling community on this forum.

I am in no way shape or form, involved in any scammerism.

Lol... This is getting a little out of hand. FedEx ****ed up, and yes I admit I should have taken care of this with a little more urgency, but I cannot make FedEx work any faster either. And to be honest I still haven't heard a peep from FedEx.

The reason why I held on to the cams for so long instead of shipping the back to you immediately was because I was gonna use to settlement money from the bumper to just pay you cash for the cams. But since FedEx has failed to give me any money, let alone even a f**king update. I'm going to send you your cams back.

I sent you a pm requesting you shipping information so I can get your cams back to you.
