EVODOM is a liar and will screw you if possible

Ok so some you may know his beautiful blue 03 evo he had. Iveytune built the first motor that then spun bearings 4000 miles later. Then he had a buschur built 2.0 installed and it made it 2000 miles and now it has spun bearings...AGAIN. David told him that it was a cheaper motor and not to push it. So what does he do, sells the car after install. He claims it was a brand new crank, oil pump and std size bearings. After engine was removed, we found .025mm bearings and it was bored to the max .060. Also not a new oil pump, it was hashed. He won't answer calls or texts....I just want more information on the first build and who put this hash job together.

Quoted from his FS thread.

The car is a 2003 Evo VIII with sunroof. The body of the car has only 34,xxx miles. The motor, turbo, head, piping, etc only has 1,000 miles. Trans, transfer case have roughly 1,500 miles. The car is absolutely mint. I'm not here to haggle or BS anyone. I'm not a thief. I'm open to all reasonable offers. Don't be afraid to pm and offer.

Did you buy the car without having a mechanic look it over? You seem to know some of the history, so I would imagine you had someone knowledgeable do a really good look over before purchasing.

Personal sales are "as-is" and unfortunately there's really not much you can do to recoup anything.

Yes the car was looked over, even driven. It's the fact that he lied not to me but to everyone on the forum. He was ready and willing to unloaded a car that had an engine that was ready to let go. Not only that but it was bored and crank cut to the max. David Buschur even told him not to push it to any limits. Even so he did and let no one else know this. Contrary he tells us it's a std. It's people like this that are out there to fu** people over that need to be banned. Now I am stuck with a junk block and crank.

And, yet, you're calling him a liar in public and asking that he be banned.

Yeah, that makes sense.

Again, I'm not questioning your story; I'm questioning the logic of calling someone a liar while also, in effect, asking them for a favor.

Do you have anything in writing from Buschur that states this? Throwing names around with no actual proof won't help your case either. Ask DB if he actually said this in an email or txt of some sort and see if he can forward it to you. Otherwise I'd drop the DB stuff as it's not helping with anything.

What does "logic" have to do with this situation? because hes asking for a "liars" help?

Every post is illogical in your eyes from what Ive seen in other peoples posts, if he wants to ask for some help, then that is his right.

I apologize for only posting when I see bad logic and not saying nice things about people using good logic. With that said, your post - asking what logic has to do with getting what you want from other people - would have received a reply, regardless.

If you really don't get my point, try it this way: assuming that you are asking for a favor from someone, would it be better to append at the end of your request the word "please" or "you jerk"? Maybe it's only common sense and not logic, per se, but the answer seems obvious to me, which is what I was pointing out to the thread-starter.

yes i understood the point of what you were trying to say, but like you said you only post when you see "bad logic", which is fine but the guy is just trying to get some information, since you know he got a bad motor.

the OP may have been illogical by asking the "lying" original seller for advice but maybe in the OPs logic, he was hoping that the "liar" would come out and be honest about the car for the first time, and help him out.

Every time I log onto the site, what, every couple of months, the level of discourse doesn't cease to amaze....

The OP didn't buy his car from Dom. He bought it from an undisclosed individual who had the Evo for 700 miles (after that person bought the car from Dom).

Iowa is the only representation of a functional brain left around here. Might want to pay attention.

I'm not saying Iowa didn't make a good point, clearly you didn't read what he said? he must be the only brain left on here because apparently people come into threads and think they know everything..

Iowa simply stated that the OP had bad logic for asking the "liar" for info on the build ,whether its the shop or the person who sold it makes no difference who sold the car..

the op stated that evodom is liar for saying the things he said on HIS for sale thread.. whether they are true or not.. that we will never know..

No, I did not.

I was not saying that asking a liar for information doesn't make sense (although, that is also something that I happen to believe); I was saying that calling someone a liar and then asking them for information makes no sense. You don't insult someone and then ask them for a favor. That would be like my now typing: "yo, pinhead, please don't comment on my posts again." Why would you do what I asked if I just insulted you?

If you really think that the other person is a liar and a cheat (and have no issues with treating bad people badly), you first suck up and say nice stuff to them, trying to get all the information from them that you can. Then, when the well runs dry, you call them a liar and a cheat and/or take them to court. That's logical. A bit evil, but logical.

I had messaged Dom many time before purchasing car. Before I had even thought too much about buying it from the kid in North Dakota that had it. He told me how it was mint and ran awesome and that ANYTHiNG that would be wrong with it happened in the last 700 miles. So the whole underside of the car had imbedded grease that looked years old happened it 700 miles and 5 months? So emailed David the receipts from doms short block he purchased and David said that its a block they had that was cheap because it was already bored to the max and had a cut crank. He told Dom to not push this engine, rpm wise or power wise. That would have been something to tell a purchaser don't you think? I am not asking him for any info now. What I am trying to get across is that after I got the car and found out tr truth Dom completely stopped talking to me and answering because he knew I found what he was hiding. A patch job. Previous owner bought it sight unseen and that's his issue. It would have been nice to know about the bore and crank being cut. Thanks
