NoVa -> GMU

Hey everyone. I'm a mazda driver, but a noser of the evo board for some time.

Im the founder of an import club at mason...a cleanup project of an oversized motorsports club that had been started last year (GMU Motorsports). In our effort to clean up the cars, we termed the club Import Theory.

We are still in the beginning stages, nothing is set in stone, have no lineup, and just now working on club sponsorship.

We are hosting a second event next saturday, november 13th. Doing lunch at a vietnamese resturant, and then doing some cruising thru the backroads of NoVa. We have a route written out by the Shenandoah Circuit Mazda drivers for this area. I know some of the mazda crew meets monthly for brunch and does this run.

Anyway, our last event turned out fairly sizable for a college event, and just wanted to extend the invitiation to any of you who arent out autox'ing and may be bored on a saturday morning.

It's obviously open to everyone. I'm not positive on what to expect, but i'd guestimate that more than half the crowd will not be associated with our club.

Anyone interested in just coming for the drive, we may make a meetup spot after lunch before the drive, for those of you who don't want do the PHO

I apologize in advance if my post is unwanted, and please don't take offense to the 'jdm-inspired' <=> viet slogan we used.

Thanks for the interest.

Vietnamese food + twisties = two things I like a lot, though I might prefer them in the opposite order There's a good chance I'd come, except I'll be out of town.

Anyway, I'll probably be there joe. I've been talking to you about it on the mazda boards. I might not make the lunch but we'll see.

Brian,
People have been asking to change the order of the event....drive first then eat after.

It sounds like this may screw you up.

We'll definetly need a place to meet if you wont be traveling with the group. I don't want to you to travel all this way and never even be attached.

Hey joe. Actually, I just dropped my car off at the dealership with what is probably a blown turbo, so just plan without me. If it gets fixed by friday I'll try to make it, if not, no biggie. Thanks.
