100 or 94 octane....where?
Well I can honestly say my car runs so much better on 94 octane that running 93 just feels dull. I only drive up to Gettysburg PA about once a month or so and when I do I get the Sunoco 94 octane fuel and its night and day compared to the ****ty 93 octane we have here in NOVA. Anyone know where I can get some 94 or 100 octane? DC is a huge area and I just can't imagine no place selling this?
Found this place which carries sunoco gt 100 octane. I'm going to buy a couple 5 gallon jugs of it and mix 2 gallons to each fill up which will give me just over 94 octane.
(10 * 93) + (2 * 100) / 12.0 = 94.16

There is a Sunoco on Rte. 40 in Catonsville, about a mile or two west of I-695, which sells 100 octane unleaded. At least they did in July, which was the last time I bought some.
I believe that's the closest place to DC to get 100 octane at the pump, except possibly for race tracks. Of course, the race track pumps tend to have very spotty hours, high prices, and might be inaccessible to non-competitors (or require you to pay admission). I've bought 100 octane at Summit Point, and the pump was (theoretically anyway) open to the public, but it wasn't open all day long.

There is a Sunoco in Arlington Co. on Lee Highway, a few miles east of the Arlington/ Falls Church border that had 94 octane as of this summer. That is where I got my gas for many years until I moved from the area. Some other Sunoco's in Arlington/Alexandria have/had it. Try calling around. I know its far from you but so is PA. Hope this reply isn't too late.
