Virginians! Exhaust Tickets?

Furthermore, there are quite a few cars operating legally in Virginia with no catalytic converter -- those which were originally manufactured without a catalytic converter. Which would make them around 30 years old or more.
But they still legally need a muffler.

Deaf and Dumb
There will come a time when I'll modify my MR's exhaust...do any of you know which exhaust offers the deepest sound? I remember one of the several parts sites I've found offers one with a deep rumbling sound, reminiscent of my WRX, but if any of you have any suggestions, I'm all ears.
I put the TurboXS 4" downpipe and RFL 3" cat-back exhaust on my car last summer and I haven't been pulled over yet due to the exhaust; however, the exhaust sound is really deep but that probably be due to the boxer engine and the fact I'm running the stock cat.

i really liked the sound of both my exhausts.. had the greddy Ti... but it was way too loud... sounded very mean and deep at WOT.. but i had a 3" dp and cat delete... the one on my car now, the HKS 30th anniv. is very clean and deep sounding... mated with the hks 2.6" dp and cat delete. i probably prefer the HKS due to it being cleaner and quieter.
I've gotten four tickets for exhaust being to loud one in VA beach on vacation the other three in manassas and gainsville and once i made the mistake of going to court by myself and got my license suspended and i had to drive home and the cop pulled me over for the loud exhaust and he stuck it to me, he didnt give me a ticket for exhaust but made me pull into a parking lot and have someone pick me up
he left and left me in the parking lot when i look across the street sure enough he was there wathching to see if i would leave so i had to wait and have someone drive me home
oh yeah i have a buschur 3 inch turbo back w\no cat
