Hey guys, I live in a condo and I'm not allowed to work on my car in the parking garage. I've always had to go to friends' houses and he doesnt always have the tools I need to work on my car with. Well, I was talking to my older brother and he told me about this--- on military bases, a lot of the times they have auto shops where you can rent out Garage spaces and use the tools. Looked up to the nearest military base to me... Fort Myer, and sure enough they have a garage that you can rent a space out for like 5 bucks and use all their tools. If anyone ever wanted to go, I could ride in their car and get them on base with my ID card.... I need to get this done before the meet and nopi this weekend. Hours are
Wednesday – Friday 12:30pm – 8:30pm
Saturday – Sunday 9pm – 5pm
Closed Monday, Tuesday and Holidays

Anyone know of any other garages where you can rent out a space cheap? Gotta have somebody military with you to get into this one... which is fine for me.

 

Hey nite, there's a base at Quantico down at dumfries area close to the air strip that will let you use their lift and tools. They have around 6 or 7 lifts and they have all the tools you need plus support. Although, don't get help with one of their techs over there as they will just ***c with you and waste your time. If they do ***c with you and mess with your car, they won't pay for the damages. So just do it yourself and don't ask for help. Just ask help when operating the lift.

N1te, what's up bro. There is this one meet at chik-fil-a down at dulles I think. Ask livelyjay, he's been there before. But I think if you're in arlington, it might take around 30min to get there.

Still gotta install my greddy catback and re-assemble my turbo, I just want to double check the pipes make sure there are no leaks. So I need a place to wrench. I hate having someone else do it, especially if I don't know or trust them.

 

You can also go to andrews they had a shop when i was there in dec 2004. call them before driving over there for hours and stuff
