Hall Mitsubishi

Have you guys heard anything good/bad about Hall Mitsubishi in Newport News? The sales staff there treated me well, so I was considering putting a deposit on a IX there. Thanks for the input.

to tell you the truth, I got my evo from them, but I think their damn service sucks. Lets say for example, I started gettin this rattling sound outta no where, and they tried to blame it on my cd player LOL, and said they would have to charge me. They do some stupid stuff, and as for my maintenance plan, I couldnt get get my oil changed from them til like almost 7k mileage or so because the guy was like we changed your oil already and they never did! Luckily I changed it around 2 grand and got it done by them at 7k again when they were supposed to do it every 5 k mileage. Other than that they are ok I guess, I got my 04 evo for like 29 k, I didnt get it right away, I waited like a month, and they called me back up and gave me a great price. If you put a downpayment on the evo9right now, they can prob rip you off because there is no set price yet. I heard it might be as high as the mr, or maybe a little lower, so I'm not sure.

Could you elaborate a bit? This will really define where I'm going to service my car and whether or not I will do any non-performance mods (IX bumper, double din radio, other interior pieces).

Basically, I got lucky on my car getting it for 29 grand. At that time, it was the only one their for like a couple of months, and it was only a few months away til the 05s came out. I didnt jump on the deal right away, when you go there, ask if you can speak with Nathan Hollis, or James Roth. James doesnt work in the sales anymore but hes really cool, he hooked me up. I told them I would not buy the car unless they gave me a good deal, out of nowhere they called my up like a month later and said they will drop a few grand off of it and I was suprised. Are you trading in any of your cars or have you ever purchased from Hall before? If you did buy a car from there before they have a certificate for one thousand towards your new car and plus u get 500-1000 bucks extra as a loyal customer if you purchased through them before. As in hall of mitsubishi selling cars, they are kind of picky about how much they want to drop and etc, but since my family has purchased 3 cars from them in the past 3 years I got some great deals. But yea, I would go with them because they are basically the only mitsubishi dealer around hear besides VA beach. VA BEACH SUCKSS, dont buy through their dealer. This guy tried to sell me the same car at the hall of newport news for freaking 33 grand!!! The evo 9's wil run around 32 grand or so I believe, but not sure yet. Are you interested in 05 evo 8s? I wouldnt mind going with an 05 they have basically everything the evo 9 will have, but I believe the mivec engine, and diff front bumper. Has like 20 more horsepower, not really much difference, the rear bumper I hate. But yea, whatever you choose go with the one in newport news instead of the one in va beach

I'm not trading anything and I didn't buy anything from them. Oh well. I'll just buy through them. They still have basically all their '05s left...I was surprised. I still want to get a IX anyway. It looks so much better, has some more power, etc. No reason not to get one.

I live in Williamsburg. I probably won't be able to attend any meets, at least not for a while.
