weird i thought that was my car for a second besides the dent my car looks identicle.

Well on the second note depending how invlolved they were if they had a set of Go jacks they could have pushed your car down the street and around the corner no problom. If it was towed you probably wont see any marks anyway thats coming from a repo guy well best of luck sad to see another evo gone

I doubt it. If they towed it (and it sounds like they had to with his exhaust), it wasnt some kid. It sucks but it probably is in pieces right now. Evo parts arent cheap, hell, the seats alone are worth a mint. Keep your eyes peeled for any Evo part-outs on Ebay.

sorry to hear about evo:
fyi: if you have any alarm w/ autostart, then it will have an immobilizer bypass or sometimes you will need an extra key to put in a bypass for the alarm(most cars 2k or newer). There is a reason i had autostart on my last 2 cars, but not this one.

If you ahd remote start then you have an extra key somewhere hidden under the dash for the immoblizer. I think thats how it is for all newer cars that you install remote start on.

sorry to hear what happen, if it was that easy to steal your car without you hearing, most likely it could be a inside job. if the people that installed your alarm knows where you live and and makes a copy of the key, or knows how to deactivate the alarm system easily maybe you should look into the installers. let the police know who you gave the car two in the last few months. good luck and I hope thos f@$kers get caught

That is why you shave the key or break off the key part. But then if they have a spare key copy you're screwed.

this is why I always give fake addresses to installers. If I get an alarm...I would give them a fake address and make sure they dont' write down any VINs...I'll even watch them do the install, no reason they would need to keep it overnight right?

Well, hope your insurance will make you whole again...I guess you can get a new Evo...that's not too bad of a deal is it?

Good luck man, I feel for you.
